Tracking Technologies on Our Services
This document describes how we use tracking technologies such as cookies, local storage, and similar techniques (collectively "tracking technologies") on our websites kodari.se and bron.events, in the Bron mobile apps (iOS and Android), and your choices regarding these technologies.
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website transfers to or accesses from your computer or device to store, and sometimes track, information about you. Some cookies only last for the duration of your visit (session cookies), while others remain on your device for longer periods (persistent cookies). On mobile apps we also use similar first-party analytics and diagnostics technologies that are not browser cookies.
What Types of Tracking Technologies Do We Use?
The tracking technologies we use generally improve the services we offer. Some features require tracking technologies to function, while others make our services work more smoothly. We categorize them as follows:
Strictly Necessary Tracking Technologies
Some tracking technologies are essential for our services to function and cannot be turned off. Storage of (or access to) this information is indispensable rather than merely reasonably necessary. We need them to provide a service to you or to ensure our websites work properly, unless it is in our legitimate interest to do so (taking your rights into account). They may also be strictly necessary to provide a service you have signed up for, in which case we rely on our contract with you, or to meet a legal obligation. You can set your browser to block these, but some parts of the site may not work as expected.
Examples of collected data: Your preferences for tracking technologies so we can respect your choices; authentication and session state needed to keep you signed in; language preference for the dashboard.

Does KODARI share the collected data with a company that may use it for its own purposes? No.
Performance and Analytics Tracking Technologies
These tracking technologies enable us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of our services. They are only used with your consent. They inform us about which pages are most and least popular, and we can see how visitors navigate the site. They also help us understand where our users come from. If you deny these tracking technologies, no user-specific data related to site performance will be stored.
- You can choose not to consent to this category of tracking technologies.
- Examples of collected data: Which pages you visit, how long you spent on the page, what type of device you use, how long it took to load a page, and which country you are browsing from.
kodari.se + bron.events
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics: Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier. | Third party (Google) | Persistent | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics 4: Maintains session state and collects anonymous usage statistics. | Third party (Google) | Persistent | 2 years |
The Bron platform uses Google Analytics Consent Mode v2. Before you give consent, GA operates in cookieless mode — no cookies are set, and only anonymous, aggregated signals are collected (behavioral modeling). After you give consent, the full GA cookies listed above are activated.
Does KODARI share the collected data with a company that may use it for its own purposes? No.
Marketing Tracking Technologies
We do not use marketing or advertising tracking technologies.
We do not place advertising cookies, do not use advertising IDs (IDFA / AAID), do not run remarketing pixels, and do not enable Google Ads signals for our websites or Bron mobile apps.
Does KODARI share the collected data with a company that may use it for its own purposes? Not applicable — this category is not used.
Bron Mobile App — Strictly Necessary (Essential)
In the Bron iOS and Android apps, certain first-party diagnostics and stability technologies run without a separate opt-in and cannot be turned off in the app. They are required to operate the service securely and reliably: minimal Firebase Analytics lifecycle and operational error events, Crashlytics (crashes/ANRs), Performance monitoring, authentication, and push notification registration.
Examples of collected data: App version and OS; anonymous app-instance identifier; session and crash diagnostics; coarse location derived from masked IP (country/region); operational error codes (for example authentication or API failures). We do not link Analytics to your email or set an Analytics user_id.
These Essential technologies are separate from optional product analytics. Turning off Analytics in Profile → Settings → Privacy does not disable Essential collection, Crashlytics, or Performance.
Does KODARI share the collected data with a company that may use it for its own purposes? No.
Bron Mobile App — Performance and Analytics (Optional)
With your consent, the Bron apps may collect additional product interaction events (for example screen views, event views, RSVP funnel steps, ticket QR and check-in usage, and notification opens without message content). This helps us improve the product. Consent is optional and defaults to off.
- You can turn Optional analytics on or off at any time in Profile → Settings → Privacy in the Bron app.
- Examples of collected data when enabled: Which screens you open, whether you view or share an event, RSVP start/success/cancel, ticket QR view and check-in scan results, and notification open type (no message body).
- If you withdraw consent, Optional product events stop. Essential stability collection continues.
- We do not use IDFA, advertising IDs, ATT prompts, Ads, or Google signals. We do not set Analytics user_id to your email or name.
Does KODARI share the collected data with a company that may use it for its own purposes? No.
Browser Local Storage (bron.events)
In addition to cookies, the Bron platform uses browser local storage to save preferences. Local storage data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
| bron_analytics_consent | Stores your analytics consent preference (granted/denied) to restore your choice on subsequent visits. |
| bron_dashboard_locale | Stores your dashboard language preference. |
How Can You Control Tracking Technologies?
Your browser or device will typically offer settings to control tracking technologies. You may be able to block all tracking technologies, only accept first-party tracking technologies, or delete all tracking technologies in your browser.
- Websites: Use the cookie consent banner (or your browser settings) to accept or reject Performance and Analytics cookies.
- Bron mobile apps: Turn Optional product analytics on or off in Profile → Settings → Privacy. Links to this page and our Privacy Policy are available there.
- Strictly necessary website cookies and Essential app stability technologies cannot be turned off in our products; blocking them in the browser or OS may break parts of the service.
The consequences of disabling cookies depend on which cookies you disable, but in general our website may not function properly if all cookies are turned off.
